Vocabulary

Your clients' names, your products, your acronyms and your industry jargon, spelled correctly in the transcript and summary of your meetings.

Generic transcription mangles your terms

Speech recognition doesn't know the people you meet, your projects or the vocabulary of your field. The result: misspelled names, acronyms written out phonetically, and a summary you have to proofread line by line.

Without vocabulary

Claire signs off the budget with bell rock before the steer co, and shiv on follows up with the cube a net ease team.

With your vocabulary

Claire signs off the budget with Belrock before the SteerCo, and Siobhan follows up with the Kubernetes team.

Add your terms once. That's it.

In the app's Vocabulary tab, type the correct spelling of a term and press Enter. A client's name, a regular attendee, a product, an acronym: up to 500 terms, each up to 60 characters.

Your list then applies to every new meeting. A term that is already there isn't added twice, even with different capitalization. Your terms are stored encrypted on our servers.

Wherever your words matter

Transcript

Once the meeting is transcribed, each turn of speech is checked and misrecognized words are replaced with your spelling.

Summary

Your list is passed to the AI that writes the summary: decisions, action items and attendees are written with your terms.

Follow-up email and questions

The follow-up email and the answers to your questions about the meeting use the same spelling.

When in doubt, Fast Debrief leaves it alone

Replacing a correct word by mistake would be worse than letting a typo through. So the transcript correction only replaces a word when its spelling is very close to one of your terms. A short term, like a four-letter acronym, must match exactly, and a common word of the language is never replaced by a term from your list.
